this week i had a fun time applying for a job, and they got back to me so quickly i thought i had it! and then today i got an email saying they weren’t going to bring me in for an in-person interview.
i’d say i was crushed, but it’s come to the point in my life where i expect an interview, sure, but don’t expect to get the job. i’ve pretty much come to the conclusion that i’m an awesome candidate, but for some reason people don’t think i’ll be an awesome employee.
is it because i’m not afraid of bringing up the fact that i’ve worked in places where people were totally afraid of their bosses? is it because my personal blog is up here and open for everyone to see? is it because of my awesome good looks?
i don’t know.
i’ve started asking for feedback.
we shall find out.
in the meantime, i’m going to keep on applying for new jobs!! it’s like a job in itself! hurray!!

looking for a job is the worst, at least you’ve got mad skills and and lots of fancy education to back you up, it’s more than I’ve got. Good luck. For us both I hope.
